• This appendix provides a detailed discussion of Window system compatibility.  Whereas the EFS-1 UI/DS is targeted for Windows 98 there are many a number of ways you can use EFS-1 with other versions and releases of Windows. The appendix discusses all versions of Win9x, ME, NT, 2000, and even CE.

Appendix B - UI/Data Source Installation Details

• This appendix provides very specific information about the installation of the EFS-1 UI/DS. It discusses the specific files and device drivers installed with the UI/DS and it defines the purpose for each file. The appendix is intended for IT professionals, advanced users, and support personnel.

Appendix C - Glossary of Terms

• This appendix defines the terms unique to the EFS-1, the User Interface/TWAIN Data Source, and other digital imaging terms relevant to EFS-1.
