Connecting (e)port to your computer for the first time -
USB Connection -
The first time you connect (e)port to your computer by USB, the system and driver files will be activated and the installation will be completed. Your computer will display "New Hardware Found" and immediately recognize the presence of the (e)port and (e)film and acknowledge the connection by registering the EFS-1 components with the Windows driver database.
Two dialog boxes will appear. The first will be:
The second message will display:
Provided that the EFS-1 software was installed prior to connecting the (e)port, no intervention is required. The installation will complete automatically and the (e)port/(e)film will be ready for immediate use.
