Low battery power.

The camera beeps twice as a warning signal.

Replace the batteries.

The Compact Flash card is not inserted.

Insert a Compact Flash card.

The Compact Flash card is corrupt, damaged or is not formatted.

The current card may not be formatted or corrupt. Either format the card or replace it with a new one.

The Compact Flash card memory is full.

Insert a new Compact Flash memory card or delete some files. (Download some images to your computer or delete some MP3s from the memory card.)

Low lighting condition! The object and background are not sufficiently illuminated and a poor image would result.

Set the Flash mode to Automatic Mode.

The Flash (flash lamp) is now charging.

Wait until the Flash is fully charged. The batteries will charge the flash capacitor is several seconds.

  • When a warning signal is displayed on the LCD Status panel, the camera will beep twice and it will not take an image.
