1. What is an MP3 File?

MP3 stands for MPEG 1/Layer 3. It is an audio file (a song) which is readable by a PC. MP3 files are produced using audio data compression technology, known as encoding. MP3 files are very efficient. A relatively small MP3 file can store a large amount of audio data. You can listen to MP3 files on your new camera after downloading the MP3 files onto your cameras Compact Flash memory Card.
