Mail

MagicManager provides a simple way to send e-mail with attachments. Click on the Postman icon to launch your e-mail program.

Select the files you would like to e-mail (digital still images, a video clip, or an MP3 song) and click the "Postman" icon to launch your e-mail application and attach the selected items.


Work Space Management
MagicManager is designed to offer a simple interface, allowing you to manage multimedia files easily. This section explains how you may manage your work space

  • 1. Creating a New Folder

    (i) Select one of the category tabs -- "Image", "Video" or "MP3"

    (ii) Click on "File", and "New Folder" to create a new folder.

    (iii) If you want to change the name of an existing folder, click on the label of the folder name.

    2. Restoring Deleted Files

    When you delete a file by selecting "Delete Folder" or "Delete Item", the deleted folders or files are sent to the Windows "Recycle Bin". To restore (undelete) a file or folder, double-click on the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop. Locate the item to be restored. Click on it and then, choose the "Restore" command to return the file or folder to its previous location.

    Conversely, if you really wish to remove a file or folder permanently from disk you can choose the "Clear" command.

    3. Setting Your Work space Color

    You may select a background color and/or text color for the MagicManager work space to enrich the overall viewing experience of your images, video clips, and MP3s.

    Click on "View", and "Preference" to invoke the "Preference" dialog box. Select the "Change Color..." buttons on the Background Color box and Text Color box to change the colors.

    4. Updating (Refreshing) Your Work space Contents

    If you use Windows Explorer or another program to move or copy files to or from any of the folders managed by MagicManager, it is possible that the MagicManager work space may not reflect those changes immediately. You may encounter missing or non-functional thumbnails. To refresh the MagicManager work space, click on "View", and then "Refresh" to refresh the contents of the work space immediately.
